The John Kennedy Rink was the big winner in the Terrace Men's Loggers Bonspiel over the Easter weekend. Kennedy began strong by topping the Fisher rink, beating Jeffery in their second game, out scoring Murphy, setting Hittel aside in the semi-final, then putting the Baker rink in their place in the final game. …Full Story. Telkwa's Holden earns top honours in MAAC hockey – 3/15/2002 2:25:38 PM

Freshman goaltender Jamie Holden of Telkwa, B.C. and junior forward Brian Herbert from Langley, B.C. have topped the award winners in Quinnipiac University ice hockey. Holden is attending the Quinnipiac University on a hockey scholarship, and while he is excelling at the sport he loves, he is also an 'A' student in his work towards a degree in dentistry. The Kermode Net Inc. sponsored team of Silvie Giannelia, Durand Dunsmore, and Travis Yagelniski, won silver at the Shames Mountain triple slalom fun race on March 3.
