How to listen to CFNR on the Net

What you need:

- A computer (preferably a pentium-class machine with 32MB RAM)

- an Internet connection 28.8kbps or faster

- a sound card & speakers

- Microsoft's Media Player 2 (most newer Windows have it already, but if you don't you can download it here.)

Download
MEDIA PLAYER 2 for Win95

(this is the oldest version of Windows Media Player that
will work, and is suitable for slower computers.)

Click on this drum for download: Media Player download

Once you've downloaded it use your Windows Explorer(file manager) to locate the file "mpfull.exe" in your download folder.

Then double-click the mpfull.exe file to launch the install wizard.

When installation is complete you may need to shutdown and restart your computer.

Once you've installed it, go back to the CFNR website and click on any of the drums at the top of any CFNR web-site left side sidebars and Windows will launch your Media Player.

If you get any "resource" errors from windows, you may have to either remove resource-hogging items from your startup folder or get more RAM

If you are having problems obtaining the feed please email us:

Email: marketing@cfnr.net

If you just want to drop a line for CFNR staff or to say hello please email CFNR at the Northern Native Broadcasting email address:

The management and staff of Kermode.net are committed to assisting communities in northern BC obtain better connectivity. In areas beyond the reach of our regional internet service we will help remote communities applying to programs such as the Canadian Federal Government CAP program to obtain connectivity. We are also in touch with BC provincial government officials who are also working to improve the situation. Please contact us if your community is still on the "underserved" list.
