THE HIDEAWAY LODGE
There's something special about it. The fresh air, the smell of sea, the tall "sky touching" trees, the beauty, the quiet, the rest. It's special all right and so is the feeling that goes with it. Something deep inside that says i've been close to it. I've walked there. Ive touched its beauty and my memories make me richer. I also feel a longing to return. And while I miss that special week in my life, I know I'll be going back.
Contemplating an icy blue ocean, a pristine river that meets it, tall majestic trees framed by even more majestic mountains can in itself be a moving experience. But imagine experiencing it in person. Imagine walking down a wilderness trail watching, listening, breathing in the beauty of nature. Picture yourself on board a comfortable 35 foot boat slicing though waters rich with color and movement. Watch the shoreline and look for the opportunity to take a once in a lifetime picture. Maybe stop and do some fishing or walk along a beach and choose mussels for tonight's dinner. Relax at day's end in a "wilderness" hot tub or sauna and retire to a cabin that's easy to call home.
The Hideway Lodge is not your usual "lodge" experience. Your hosts Richard and Bebe Lemieux see to that. Whether it is providing you with a seafood meal that is like none other or showing you the beauty of their home, Richard and Bebe's primary purpose is to make your visit memorable.
The Hideaway Lodge specializes in small group visits. Three comfortable cabins can accommodate up to a total 18 people. A perfect setting for couples wishing a special weekend away. Unique for a wedding or a honeymoon that will be remembered forever. An ideal setting for a retreat or seminar with an unforgettable difference. The Hideaway Lodge gives new meaning to the words "get away".
