Thefts net time in jail – 7/4/2002 8:16:14 PM

Two men were arrested in Thornhill during a June 30 investigation into numerous thefts from vehicles. The two men, Nicholas House, 21, and Thomas Foss, 22, were driving a stolen Honda CRV which was found parked in the 3400 block of Clark Street in Thornhill. Kitimat fishermen okay after snagged anchor dumps them in river – 7/3/2002 8:01:16 PM

Two Kitimat fishermen survived a Kitimat River adventure on Sunday, June 30, after their anchor snagged something at about 9: 30 p.m. that just wouldn't let go. The boat overturned when they tried to free the anchor. Both men were able to swim to shore, and the Kitimat Fire Department, Kitimat RCMP, Kitimat Search and Rescue, Federal Fisheries, and Terrace Water Rescue responded to a report of calls for help from somewhere on the river just south of the Cable Car subdivision. …Full Story.
