Hats off to all who helped make it happen. In spite of cutbacks, regional population loss, and general attempts by Victoria to de-emphasise arts programs in the schools, local students again showed through their hard work that there is more to education than just "basics" and corporatization as recent "non-think tanks" would like us to believe. Hawkair Awards Multi-Million Dollar Engine Maintenance Contract to Amsterdam Facility – 9/30/2002 6:01:50 AM

Hawkair has awarded a ten year contract to Standard Aero to provide heavy maintenance services for their Dash 8 engines. Hawkair's engines will go to Standard Aero's new Amsterdam overhaul facility. In conjunction Standard Aero will provide spares support. Hawkair co-owner Rod Hayward recently returned from a tour of the new facility.
