Aboriginal Infrastructure Loans

This small loan program lends up to $5,000 specifically for business development on reserve lands. If you have a good and viable business idea and want to start your own business on reserve land, you can apply for this program. You will need a Band Council Resolution in support of your business. 16/37 will provide free business planning and counselling, and free business financial forecasting. Loans provided under this program are fully repayable to 16/37. Repayment term of the loan can be up to five years.

Aboriginal Loan Guarantee Program

Under an agreement with the Gitksan Wet'suwet'en Economic Development Corporation, business loans made to Gitksan and Wet'suwet'en entrepreneurs may receive an Aboriginal Loan Guarantee from the GWEDC.

Nechako Kitimat Development Fund

This loan fund is available to residents of kitamaat Village for business development within the village boundaries. Applicants musty have a proper business plan to apply for funding. The loans are to a maximum of $150,000 and are fully repayable to 16/37. Repayment term of the loan can be up to five years
